TOLPPA (meaning ''THE POST'' in Finnish) is a sturdy handmade scratching post that is designed to last the entire life of your cat.

TOLPPA doesn't try to be anything extra. It is our simplest scratching post, stripped of everything superfluous. With a beautiful and clean minimalist design, TOLPPA is perfect for a focal point in a room or, for example, next to a sofa, where any scratching on furniture can easily be directed to the scratching post.

The 86 cm high scratching rope ensures that your cat can reach out to scratch and stretch properly, which is important for the cat's well-being. The large base plate is sturdy and safe. The cat can also stand with its full weight on the base area, which further supports the scratching experience. The rough surface of the upholstery provides good grip for the paws. TOLPPA can also withstand climbing and jumping on it without falling over.

Sturdy scratching post made of high-quality materials

The frame of TOLPPA is made of Finnish solid wood and the base plate is made of durable birch plywood, which makes it really sturdy and durable. The solid structure ensures that TOLPPA does not wobble at all, so using it is safe and pleasant for the cat. The wooden frame is designed to last the entire life of the cat.

100% replaceable upholstery and rope

The entire upholstery and rope of TOLPPA are replaceable, which makes the post long lasting. Replace the upholstery of the scratching post with individual replacement pieces or replace the entire post's upholstery at once. You can also change the colour of your wood if you like by ordering replacement pieces for the entire tree in a different colour. This way, the post can be transformed according to your interior and you don't have to buy a completely new tree.

Thanks to the convenient and durable tape attachment, replacing the upholstery is quick and easy. The replacement pieces come with tape, so you only need to replace the worn upholstery piece with a new one at home.

The black and grey rope is hand-dyed sisal fiber. Please note that due to the dyeing process of the rope, the rope is not completely dyed to the middle. Over time, undyed fibers may appear outside the rope when scratched. If you wish, you can safely remove the scratched fibers with scissors.

Ecological materials

The upholstery fabric of the black and grey scratching post is 100% recycled needle felt carpet. Recycled upholstery material does not burden nature and is therefore an extremely ecological and sustainable option.
